Tiverton Town Football in the Community Coaches

RYAN GERMAN

HEAD F.I.T.C YOUTH DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Ryan started coaching at the age of just 16. After completing his level one coaching badge, he joined Tiverton Town in season 2007/2008.                                                                                   
Whilst helping coach the team to the league title on the last day of the season, Ryan also played in the very successful EDC Academy side, where he was taught and guided by one of the best coaches locally 'Chris Vinnicombe'.

With a trip of a lifetime to one of Italys top football training camps for a very tough and demanding pre-season and also being captain of the league winning team, Ryan has learnt and took many of Vinnys sessions to pass on to the keen youngsters he is now coaching. Still at a young age of 19, he is now heavily involved with Tiverton Town Youth; managing the U16's, Assisting with the U15's and coaching the U18's.

Ryan also helps run the Tiverton Town Football In The Community, where he and Chad founded the scheme in October, 2008.

The scheme has grown and grown since then and now has 10 schools on board. With a Level 1 badge completed, Ryan is now booked on a Level 2 course and is hoping to go onto his UEFA B Badge in the near future. With a valid CRB check and being first aid qualified, Ryan is the youngest Manager in Tiverton Youth.

CHAD GRIBBLE

HEAD F.I.T.C YOUTH DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Chad is an ex Plymouth and Exeter City schoolboy. Once finishing playing at Exeter City, he began coaching with their Football In The Community Scheme, working in local schools and coaching at soccer roadshows. Alongside this, Chad began coaching Exeter Citys girls U12's side, as well as the boys centre of excellence goalkeepers.

He joined Tiverton Town Youth as the goal keeper coach of the U16's side and having enjoyed this so much, he soon become the Assistant to Ryan in last seasons successful league winning side. From there, Chad and Ryan, then decided to set up Tiverton Town Football In The Community.

Alongside running the Tiverton Town FITC scheme with Ryan, he still assists Ryan with the U16's, coaches Tiverton goalkeepers of all ages and coaches the new improved Tiverton Town Under 13's girls team. Chad is a Level 1 qualified coach and is currently booked in for his Level 2 with further aims to go on and complete the UEFA B badge course. He is also CRB checked and holds a valid First Aid qualification.
